Ecole Ducasse,
Master more than cooking

Created in 1999, DUCASSE Education was born out of Alain Ducasse’s will to share his passion and culinary savoir-faire with future generations of chefs and other professionals in the hotel-restaurant business. This desire led to the creation of Ecole de cuisine Alain Ducasse in 2009 for amateurs. In 2019, the partnership with Sommet Education strengthens the ambition to become an international reference.

The philosophy of excellence

Hosted by chefs and pastry chefs who possess enormous experience and a sense of pedagogy, our trainings blend teaching and sharing of culinary techniques and expertise at the highest level, with a resolutely contemporary approach to gastronomy.

With the support of Sommet Education and driven by international ambitions while remaining true to its French heritage, Ducasse Education becomes Ecole Ducasse and embraces a new signature : master more than cooking.

Our pedagogical approach, largely founded on practice, makes a big difference for our students' future careers in the restaurant- and pastry chef businesses.

With campus in France, the Philippines and Brazil, Ecole Ducasse offers a large portfolio of training programs to professionals and entrepreneurs.

France boasts two campus in exceptional settings : the world-famous Pastry school is housed in the Château de Montbarnier in the Haute-Loire. Several alumni have earned the coveted title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France. At the cutting edge of food trends, the newly created Paris Campus will welcome its first students in september 2020.

Classes for culinary enthusiasts

Concurrently with initial cuisine and pastry making trainings, Ecole Ducasse offers also cooking classes designed for culinary enthusiasts and corporate events.

In a large contemporary space in Paris, the Studio provides a range of courses, from amateur to advanced. All teaching is by  experienced chef-instructors and sommeliers who have trained alongside Alain Ducasse.
